As a Barclays Vice President Financial Sponsors Group, this is an exciting opportunity where you will gain an in-depth understanding of sponsor clients by working on transactions where the firm is providing strategic advice related to M&A, restructuring, and recapitalization, as well as raising capital in the private and public equity and debt capital markets.

What will you be doing?

??? Playing a key role in the execution on a deal or proposal; executing a transaction and creating new business presentations
??? Completing financial analysis/modeling, industry research, and preparation of offering memoranda and other written materials
??? Building and utilizing your exceptional knowledge of finance and capital markets to understand and meet clients' needs
??? Developing effective working relationships and to demonstrate a strong commitment to the Firm's goals and values
??? Participating in activities such as task forces, recruiting, and training to broaden exposure throughout the firm and making a meaningful contribution to Barclays
??? You will generate innovative solutions to problems, and effectively utilize available resources

What we're looking for:

??? Have a Bachelor's Degree in Finance or similar
??? Minimum Four plus years in the Finance industry
??? Minimum Four plus years working with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
??? FINRA Series 63 and 79 license (or equivalent)

Skills that will help you in the role:

??? Prior experience as an investment banking associate
??? Prior experience or knowledge of the Financial Sponsors industry
??? Exceptional written and oral communication skills
??? Experience with financial modelling, building, using and operating cash flow projections and credit financial analysis
