On a typical day you will: - Develop effective messaging for print and digital publications that support Pratt Institute's comprehensive campaign
- Provide project coordination: projects include campaign white papers; proposals for individual donors, foundations, and corporations; case statements for campaign priorities; and other materials as needed
Qualifications:Education: Bachelors degree or equivalent level of training and experience.
Experience: Demonstrated work experience in writing for development/fundraising, communications, media relations, or related field. Experience writing fundraising letters and collateral.
Required Skills: - Excellent communication skills, including the ability to tailor writing to a variety of individual styles and make a persuasive case.
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects and leverage coordination of disparate efforts.
- Excellent proofreading and editing skills, including abilities to prepare materials using best practices in proposal development writing, and understanding of the universitys branding.
- Knowledge of established elements of a funding proposal including budget preparation.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Design knowledge and experience utilizing Adobe Creative Suite applications.
