Work you'll do
As the Project Manager for the Information Technology Services (ITS) PMO team, you will provide hands-on, advanced project management and support for multiple projects across numerous functional and technical units within the Firm. You will have the opportunity to demonstrate ITS and PMO standard tools, processes and methods. As the Project Manager, you will lead all aspects of the SDLC and Project Delivery Process for strategic projects/programs that range in scope, budget and team size to the level of large projects, involving medium to high levels of risk and complexity and/or budgets of approximately >$150,000 - $1.5M.
You will identify & lead cross-dependencies, dedicatedly resolving issues in a program. You will collaborate with varying levels of leadership ITS and Deloitte and will serve in an advisory and consultative role to partners on all project-related activities.
The ITS PMO project managers work together with teams and stakeholders to provide consistent, high quality project and management services to include:
Partnering with engagement managers to lead delivery teams
Creating/delivering executive reporting
Performing dedicated issue/risk/change management and solutioning
Critical issue leadership
Integrating work across teams
Dedicatedly identifying/handling key dependencies
Leading with unified approach to successful delivery and focus on achieving business value.

Technology Management Office The Technology Management Office ensures a smooth, efficient, and fiscally-sound technology operation for ITS. This multi-disciplinary team runs IT as a business by transforming IT finance, reporting project portfolio metrics, quality, deployment, delivery, and adoption, and building the IT workforce of the future.
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical/business discipline
5+ years of experience in an IT Project Management role including significant experience managing medium to large projects and multiple, concurrent projects; ability to guide technical/delivery/business teams through ambiguity and create and manage plans
Demonstrated ability to build and grow trust in context of strong, collaborative relationships with various stakeholders and team members
Demonstrated knowledge and effective application of PMI PM standard methodology, tools and techniques
Leadership and general management skills, including advanced communication, negotiation and conflict resolution capabilities.
Thorough knowledge of software development lifecycle and/or infrastructure project delivery.
Outstanding organization and planning skills along with proactive follow up
Experienced in methods of estimating time and resources for task assignments and resource leveling.
Advanced problem-solver. Finds simple answers to complex questions or problems.
Thinks creatively and uses knowledge gained through prior experience, education, training to resolve issues and remove project barriers.
Ability to motivate team while constantly driving towards key achievements.
Experience with core PM tools including ServiceNow, Microsoft Project Professional, Microsoft Sharepoint, Microsoft Office Professional (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Access, etc.), and others
Demonstrated advanced analytical and technical abilities and task management skills
Strong PowerPoint skills in translating concepts into visual representations
Experience in managing project teams of 10 or more people, as well as leading and developing resources
Fosters a climate conducive to establishing positive working relationships with teams and clients (internal and external).
PMP certified; SAFe, Agile, ITIL, COBIT, Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certifications a plus
Ability to travel as required (may require 30-50% travel at times)-(While 30-50% of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice.)
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
