Job Description Analytics and Behavior Change's Campaign Targeting Architect will be responsible for overseeing and supporting, requirements, configuration, execution, and validation of CRM communications under a highly collaborative multi-platform environment with multiple internal business partners. This position has a high impact on communication programs that drive interventions to a base of over 80M members. Your day to day function will include reviewing and managing several CRM platforms that deliver member communications based on business requirements and working with business team to manage overall program delivery of projects and operational files for multiple portfolios. You will have over-all responsibility for a set of programs and work with and manage team members to deliver solutions based on backend architectures and processes. This activity requires an expert level of knowledge in SQL, Python, R, Json, and complex large database processing SDLC/CRM tools.

This position is expected to: â¢ Advise the development team on targeting, development, QC, and triage of member communications. This activity requires a high comfort level with building queries in Relational Database Management System using SAS/SQL language or Campaign Relationship Management (CRM) tools. â¢ Provide technical leadership, guidance, and standards to targeting development teams in support of campaigns. May require you to actively facilitate technical discussions, reconciling differing opinions and driving the decision-making process. â¢ As a subject matter expert work with business analysts, business users, and database developers to explain how CVS Health data supports strategic initiatives. â¢ Advise other team members on interactions with business partners to vet data requests and explore options and solving problems. Escalate to senior management when appropriate â¢ Perform reviews of project requests for correct platform placement and design for other development teams to build and execute with your guidance/help (code reviews/technical spec documents) â¢ Take an active role to ensure requirements and designs are clearly defined for communication operational projects â¢ Participate and provide leadership on multiple projects of varied complexity (moderate to complex) simultaneously across several platforms â¢ Document and maintain procedures and queries necessary to prepare data based on targeting requirements and variations in data sources atting. Define ways to identify issue before they occur â¢ Apply problem-solving and analytical skill in conjunction with SQL R, Python, Json language in Teradata/Hadoop in order to find and identify quality assurance checks on data (from initial delivery to final merged data) in order to ensure data accuracy â¢ Work with other senior team members, business partners, including project managers, print production, client account managers and communications product managers, to assist on the flawless execution on data requests by asking appropriate questions and manipulating data accordingly â¢ Troubleshoot/research data-related issues and recommend corrective actions
Required Qualifications â¢ Bachelorâ™s or Master's degree in computer science or related field of study â¢ 7+ years of professional software development experience â¢ 5+ years of professional experience with relational databases (Teradata/Oracle/Hadoop) using SQL/R/Python such as: data manipulation, data conversion, query generation, import and export processes, and report generation â¢ 2+ years professional experience with a Campaign Relationship Management (CRM) tool such as Teradata Relationship Manager (TRM), Aprimo Relationship Manager (ARM) or IBM (Unica) a plus â¢ Proficient with SQL, R, Python, Json programming skills â¢ Able to interpret instructions, ask analytical questions, validate report/query information, and detect flaws in requests or suggested methodologies â¢ Understanding of all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and process methodologies â¢ Able to identify root causes of problems, and develop and implement solutions, incorporating business needs and consulting management as needed. Includes business considerations in analysis and offers direction to keep projects aligned â¢ Solid mathematical/statistical baseline primarily with fractions, percentages, and proportional relationships â¢ Ability to work on multiple projects/assignments concurrently under aggressive deadlines â¢ Strong problem-solving and analytical skills â¢ Ability to work with team members or independently on multiple projects in a fast pace environment â¢ Ability to provide instructional guidance to team members both technically and within PBM industry

Preferred Qualifications â¢ 3+ years of professional experience with a Campaign Relationship Management (CRM) tool such as Teradata Relationship Manager (CIM), Aprimo Relationship Manager (ARM) or IBM (Unica Campaign), Sales Force Marketing Cloud â¢ 3+ years of Database Marketing architecture experience.
Education Bachelor's, Master's or PhD in computer science or related field of study or application development experience.
