The Stanford Institute for Innovation in Developing Economies, also known as Stanford Seed, is a Stanford GSB-led initiative that is working to end the cycle of global poverty by training business leaders in developing economies, inspiring Stanford students to become globally-engaged leaders, and supporting critical research from across the university to maximize our impact. Stanford Seed is seeking a Program Manager, to manage programmatic and logistical aspects of the Seed's Transformation Program (STP), a high-touch entrepreneurship acceleration program for small- to medium-size businesses in Africa and South Asia. As a member of the Program Delivery Team, you should have strong project management skills and demonstrated experience with managing education programs, with preferred experience in online or blended learning training programs. In addition, you will help Seed to continue to build and maintain effective processes of program delivery in a global setting.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with global program managers in the field to ensure their success in delivering program elements, and drive collaboration across the organization.
This role will be primarily on the Stanford campus. You may work outside of the normal 8 am - 5 pm workday to correspond to working hours in regional offices (India, Ghana, Kenya, Botswana).
Your primary responsibilities include:
Manage programmatic and logistical aspects of STP
Act as a key STP contact for regional teams, and represent Seed with internal and external stakeholders
Design and administer program learning platform and other technology
Coordinate program monitoring and evaluation
To be successful in this position, you will bring:
Bachelor's degree and three years of relevant experience, or combination of education and relevant experience.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize own work, multi-task, and meet deadlines
Demonstrated excellent organizational skills and ability to recommend systems and process improvements
Relevant subject matter knowledge with education programs
Advanced computer skills and demonstrated experience with office software and email applications. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and Google Suite tools (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
In addition, preferred requirements include:
Experience with Canvas, Salesforce, Form Assembly, and Asana
Experience in online or blended learning education programs
