Cloud Native Architect is responsible for guiding Conifer Health through their cloud transformation journeys by designing distributed solutions using cloud-native platforms. Architects will work closely with business, project managers, engineers, and other functions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Cloud Native Architect, you are responsible for cataloging, developing, coordinating, communicating, maintaining, and enforcing overall enterprise architecture models, representations, initiatives, capabilities, and components to adequately perform the organization's business and technology activities. You will lead the effort to transition products to their more modern state through thoughtful layering and scaffolding of the existing technology.
Design reusable frameworks and curate modularized components to help accelerate the time to market for new business capabilities that can be leveraged across multiple business lines
Develop and promote architecture best practices and guidelines and establish software development frameworks, code quality standards and sponsor code improvement initiatives
Engage with technical and business stakeholders to understand business needs, articulate the architectural vision, and guide product and engineering teams in defining solutions
Ensures architecture approaches are consistent and developed based on domain roadmaps, architecture patterns and enterprise platforms.
Ability to build application using test-driven development practices , performance & resilience patterns embedded
Develops and mentors staff through on-boarding, open communication, training and development opportunities and performance management processes.
Responsible for the maintain the cloud spend for Azure Environment for Conifer Health for the Applications hosted on the cloud. Also responsible for the selection and billing aspect for the outsourced vendor partner.
If direct report positions are listed below, the following responsibilities will be performed in accordance with guidelines, policies and procedures and applicable laws. Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Experience in successful planning and delivery of large and complex automation programs, delivering significant business transformation benefits.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required in addition to the ability to effectively develop and deliver presentations to leadership.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Include minimum education, technical training, and/or experience preferred to perform the job.
A bachelorâ��s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS or related degree is required.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT Consulting or in a solution architect role
Strong background in solution architecture
Working knowledge of Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and ability to design cloud-native applications
In-depth understanding of Domain Drive Design, and 12-Factor applications
4+yearsâ�� experience with micro-services architecture
3+ yearsâ�� experience with micro-services architecture
Include minimum certification required to perform the job.
AWS/Azure Professional Certification
