Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Maintains calendar organization (daily desk management), confidential administrative and correspondence files, DEI initiatives, travel and assigned projects.Â
Visiting professors and faculty recruits - coordinate all scheduling, communications and approved correspondence, evening dinner event, hotel/travel arrangements, printed materials, travel reimbursement forms, signage, act as guide during actual visit (approximately 12-18 visitors a year).
Assist with compilation of 20 fellow and 45 annual appointments/promotions/faculty reviews - coordinate collection of review information; edit curriculum vitae and other documentation, compile and compute scores, edit/compile review comments, schedule meetings with each faculty and fellow to discuss progress.
Assist with coordinating GI conference schedules - obtain required CME documentation and ensure that all conferences and speakers have proper CME approval. Maintain CME / GI profile and stay current on any CME updates and new required information.
Assist in the development and maintenance of the GI website, newsletter, and other GI social media.
Writes, edits and proofreads content for online consumption for the Gastroenterology website and other resources (blog, press releases, social media, and marketing materials) as applicable.Â
Ensure editorial integrity and accuracy for all online content by identifying and fixing content problems, including broken links and typographical errors, and creating an editorial calendar for regular updates.Â
Works with faculty, fellows and staff to develop clear content strategies that meet the needs of research and clinical operations, as well as prevention/public health efforts, for the Division.â¯Â
Working knowledge of Twitter and other Internet based social networks.Â
Conduct keyword research and SEO (Search Engine Optimization) guidelines to increase content performance and web traffic.â¯Â
Assist in preparing long-term plans and goals for content development, including standards and guidelines, based on the Divisionâ™s goals and internal and external input from stakeholders.Â
Monitor, review and report on performance of content, and make changes as needed.Â
Coordinate GI faculty meetings - arrange meeting and RSVPs for monthly 70 member faculty/fellow/staff leadership member meeting, arrange light refreshments when not remote/Zoom driven, gather agenda items, occasional presentations, alert faculty as to meeting dates and times.
Coordinate GI social/marketing activities including 400 invitee Holiday Party, 40 member clinical St. Louis Magazine photo shoot, 100 member GI Division photo updates, retirement programs and assist as needed with the Fellowsâ™/New Faculty Welcome events. Budget development/vendor financial negotiations, coordinate site selection, menus, invitations, mailing lists and other related responsibilities.
Working knowledge of general office equipment, computers, and calculator.
Effective interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
Utilizing programs/software such as Workday, Office, WordPress, etc.
Equivalent of a bachelorâ™s degree in business/accounting with five plus years of experience in accounting, financial, auditing or related field, including word processing and spreadsheet.
$45,800.00 - $75,900.00 / AnnuallyThe salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
