The Sr Director, Hospital at Home Program, will manage the administrative aspects of and technical staff of the Hospital at Home program. Collaborate with the VUMC and non-VUMC partners involved in delivering acute care in the home, in partnership with the medical director. Experienced leader with strong facilitation, project management, collaboration, problem solving and analytic skills.

The newly developed Vanderbilt Hospital at Home department focuses on providing hospital acute care in the home environment. Patients will be evaluated in the hospital setting and admitted to services, but deemed appropriate to be cared for in the home.

Recruitment/Retention/Performance Management - Define the qualifications and performance expectations for all staff positions through the Performance Development system, including program specific job descriptions and measurable performance standards. Play an active role in recruiting, interviewing, hiring, orienting, and retaining high level talent at all levels. Actively engage in processes that develop and reward high performers while addressing performance improvement needs through coaching, accountability plans and disciplinary action. Creates an environment that fosters staff and leader satisfaction and excellence in performance
Finance - Manage financial performance of the program. Present financial data and recommendations for improvement and growth. Create customized budget reports for programs and key divisions.
