Responsible for product and business management for the assigned portfolio. Responsibilities include (not limited to):
Managing financial plans and objectives.
Managing the lifecycle and developing optimization strategies for existing products.
Developing strategies for new products.
Leading people and providing personnel administration, supervision, resource allocation, performance feedback, coaching and skill development.
Assisting in the development of business strategies.
Collaborate with marketing leadership on product promotion and new product introductions for assigned product lines

Accountable for the definition (new product) and further enhancement (existing product) of the assigned portfolio strategies derived from market opportunities, customer input, competitive analysis and strategic direction.
Work collaboratively with global marketing and stakeholder business units to define and implement marketing programs for assigned product lines.
Responsible for leading and developing product managers to analyse customer (through direct interaction) and competitive system requirements to collate and develop marketing requirement documents that guide new product development and existing product enhancements.

Sets direction for product line forecast, pricing and inventory control.
Understands market and control system trends and provides insight into the actions that the company must take to capitalize on these trends.
Ensures thorough familiarity with 3rd party contractual obligations, company policies and procedures and applies them appropriately.

Requires bachelor's degree in engineering and/or business, or equivalent.
EMBA / MBA or equivalent is desirable.
Proficient in English. A minimum score of 6.5 in IELTS is required for those applicants whose first language is not English.
12+ years' experience, balanced between technical execution and commercial leadership
Automation industry knowledge required, with control system and safety background desired.
Proficient in core Microsoft Office products
