What you will do:
Helping to lead a cross functional team of design engineers, manufacturing engineers, quality engineers and sourcing professionals you will be helping to drive product cost down by assisting the exploration and then execution of moving components and/or finished good from one contract manufacturer to another. We are looking for someone with experience in design and product testing. You should have good engineering design principles to assess magnitude of testing to perform and rationale as to why and how to test to ensure design intent is still met after transfer. The ideal candidate will have experience with multiple different mechanical component design and test experiences from plastics to machining.

Will determine specific processes and development schedules to meet pre-determined goals and objectives.
May participate in the prototype assembly and/or design of sub- or final assemblies of assigned products.
Will submit periodic reports on assigned topics to appropriate personnel.
May have contact with customers.
Will be responsible for ownership of change control process for design changes
What you need:
B.S. of Engineering (or equivalent).
6+ Years of applicable experience required.
Project management (project scope definition, task management, define deliverables) preferred demonstrated experience with ProE or CAD. Demonstrated technical design and problem-solving skills.
Exercise discretion and independence when applying professional expertise.
Must be able to manage time, projects, stress and conflict.
Must possess strong interpersonal skills including written and oral communication.
Must be able to bring tasks through to completion with minimal supervisor.
