The Sr. Technical Solution Lead is responsible for design, configuration, and testing activities for a specific platform team and/or corresponding set of applications. These responsibilities will be distributed across Projects and Release Cycles. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for the delivery of approved projects through the project management framework. The Sr. Technical Solution Lead needs to be able to produce detailed technical documents, configure and/or develop within the assigned applications and understand the overall design and architecture of a platform and deliver the end to end technical solution. This candidate will play a key role in transitioning the knowledge of the new/enhanced capabilities (including technical aspects) to the Service Delivery Team(s).
Essential duties & responsibilities:
Ability to evaluate client needs for integration and configuration and recommend solutions accordingly
Solid understanding of SaaS development processes and methodologies
Solid understanding of Oracle CPQ & Salesforce. com data model (including a thorough understanding of object relationships, BML, BMQL, Document Engine, Doc Designer, Approval processes, Pricing functions, Pricing formula, Data table design, configuration and commerce), architecture, constraints, platform limits and change management.
Solid understanding of the SFDC Managed Package v7 and v8.
Experience with Migrations from Classic UI to JET UI, Migrations from Doc Engine to Doc Designer, Migrations from managed package v7 to v8.
Solid understanding of CPQ SOAP v1, v2 and Rest API, Integration best practices in and out of CPQ.
Solid understanding of version control
Strong experience with Oracle CPQ & SFDC architecture and implementation best practices.
Develops visually rich and professional conceptual design documents targeted to varying audiences of business and technical aptitude
Develops detailed configuration specifications documentation targeted to technical resources
Manages business and vendor communications, conflicts, and negotiations related to overall solutions design
Conducts solutions presentations and obtains business acceptance to solution design
Validates solutions after built and provides solution walkthrough with business. Guides business through solution deployment
Team player with excellent verbal & written communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
Proven experience with the Configuration/Administration of Oracle CPQ Cloud
Working with the business to understand and document their existing processes as well as document their future, improved and standardized processes that will be enabled by Salesforce
Creating Technical requirements as an input to Oracle CPQ application design
Ability to work with development staff to complete a solution design in a Salesforce environment
Planning and executing data conversion activities (e. g., test data)
Testing functional designs for business solution components and prototypes
Ability to work with multiple projects and work streams at one time.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple business leaders to complete projects quickly
Maintains/enhances technology expertise, keeping current with evolving systems analysis, programming and database technologies
Perform activities following Stryker's Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) framework and processes
Technical Design, Development, Testing and Delivery of solutions for Release Cycles and/or new projects within a Shared Service Platform/application stack
Identify opportunities to improve the systems process flow, performance, and technical efficiencies
Be able to support the business and recommend/provide holistic solutions that integrate the existing technical standards with the business needs and processes
Recommend approaches to optimize/tune systems performance
Develop both system and technical documentation
Work with other IS teams along with business teams to deliver business solutions
Partner with Business Analysts in understanding system requirements and translating into solutions within an application and/or application stack
Provide guidance and mentoring to other Solution Leads and Solution Analysts within the team or same project/program.
Financial focus on delivering activities on budget, leveraging time on value-driven activities, and ensuring external resources meet contractual deliverables

Education & special trainings:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in the areas of Computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent field of study required
Experience in leading teams of resources for projects, minimum 3 years preferred
Experience and demonstrated understanding of global system rollouts - strategy, planning, vendor selection and implementation planning
Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) configuration, development and process knowledge (different modules, different versions) is required
Knowledge of and ability to drive IS methodologies such as ITIL, Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile Development is preferred
Ability to analyze business situations
Excellent organizational/communication skills and attention to detail
Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills
Experience in design and deployment of regulated applications
Demonstrated ability to work cohesively across a cross functional and matrixed organization
Strong knowledge of PC skills working with large datasets (Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, Word documents)
