The Head of CA Strategy and Transformation will have dual responsibility as Chief of Staff for the US Pharma Head Commercial Acceleration (CA = Chief Commercial Analytics and Operations Office) and support CA efforts in multiple high impact projects and initiatives in the areas of Insights, Analytics, Data, Commercial Operations and Omni-Channel Customer Engagement Transformation. As Chief of Staff, the role will be responsible for supporting the Head of CA and the Commercial Acceleration Leadership Team (CALT) in the strategic planning and evolution of the CA Organization to continue driving US Pharma through its journey to go big on data and digital and bring to life data driven decision making. This role will also represent the CA Head as needed on driving priority initiatives that cut across the Franchise Insights & Execution Team and provide guidance and direction in the execution of the CA strategy.
This role will be an integral part of the leadership team and work with all leaders to define priorities and plans, support the measurement of progress against defined KPIs and the decision making in pursuit of the CA organization's objectives and long-term strategic business plan. The role will own the communication strategy to inform within CA as well as US Novartis and the Executive Committee of key benefits realization, project demand, progress and value from the CA organization. The role will also drive the internal team engagement and change management approach towards a highly curious, innovative and agile organization via various townhalls, small team meetings, events etc.
The role will support several high priority initiatives across CA across Insights, oversee overall inter-nal/external partner model, team effectiveness and business impact. These initiatives may run across Insights and Execution, Early Asset Insights, Analytics adoption, Operations, Reporting and Data.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: * Support the Omnichannel/customer engagement program with the Digital team and work with CA Leads (insights, data, data science, asset management) as needed on behalf of CA * Jointly with head of CA, co-create functional priorities, KPIs and milestones for CA initiatives ensure successful execution through the various CA leads by providing measurement and reporting against defined priorities/objectives; including benefits realization, project demand, and pipeline. * Consult and provide guidance to all Heads of I&E in the execution of the CA strategy. Coordinate requests and cross-CA topics as needed with the 5 I&E Leads on behalf of the VP of Commercial Acceleration. * Ensure operational effectiveness across the CA organization driving adoption of best practices using insights gleaned from pharmaceutical landscape trends and initiatives within the competitive landscape. * Support head of CA in meeting preparation, agenda creation, and materials preparation for CALT and Pharma-wide PEC and executive meetings. * Create and execute communication strategy that articulates a compelling narrative on the strategic impact and value the CA team brings to the organization. * Lead annual planning process within the cross functional CA leadership including areas of Insights, Analytics, Data Science and AI, Commercial Operations, Training, Marketing Operations and Data Management. * This role will serve as key member of US Pharma CA Leadership Team and will work across a very wide set of stakeholders within US Pharma (Franchises, Strat & Operation Leads, Digital) and with Global teams including Global Commercial Execution, Global Digital/NGE, , and IT.
