We are seeking a Title V Applied Learning Specialist who will coordinator applied learning experiences.
This is a full-time, grant-funded, administrative position.
Examples of Duties
Arrange for PCCC students to participate in applied learning experiences
Coordinator the micro-internship program with Parker Dewey
Manage the day-to-day activities of the Applied Learning Laboratory
Expand work-based learning sites in the surrounding communities
Work with faculty to embed applied learning activities into course curriculum
Prepare students for applied learning experiences and monitor their participation
Develop and implement reflective learning activities
Conduct student workshops to reinforce career-ready skills
Train and supervise student consultants/tutors
Promote applied and collaborative learning on campus
Serve on the project management team and Advisory Council; and
Participate in project evaluation and institutionalization of activities
Master's degree in Education or related required
Minimum five years' experience in coordinating applied learning experience for disadvantaged students
Requires outstanding interpersonal communication, leadership and organizational skills
Strong relationships with employer/workforce partners preferred
Bi-lingual Spanish/English preferred
