Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the VP Enrollment Management provides strategic leadership, supervision and direction to maximize and sustain academic enrollment as defined by Fairmont’s organizational goals and developing strategic plan. The VP Enrollment Management will lead and support all areas of Admissions, Marketing, Communications, Financial Aid and Retention.
The successful candidate will be an innovative and strategic enrollment manager. The new Vice President will possess the skill to lead enrollment in a complex environment, superior communication and listening skills, exceptional analytical capacity and technological sophistication, the ability to make connections across the organization with attention to balancing multiple priorities and goals.
Provide strategic leadership and planning for the recruitment and enrollment of new domestic and international students at the five Fairmont campuses in Orange County, California (covering grades PK-12)
Work closely with campus academic leadership and the Education Team to affirm the enrollment process for potential applicants
In collaboration with senior leadership, develop and institute measurable plans to meet enrollment and retention targets
Develop annual admissions forecasts and predictive models in conjunction with essential support units and academic programs
Provide enrollment management leadership throughout the student life cycle, including recruitment, retention and completion
Performs other related duties as assigned
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
7-10 years of K12 and/or higher education experience in enrollment management with increasing levels of responsibility
CRM, processing, and digital recruitment experiences. Demonstrated competency in Hubspot or equivalent automated software
Progressive supervision of professional-level staff
Professional developer and team-oriented services provider
Ability to establish strong relationships, generate leads, confirm applicants
Strong passion to connect with internal and external constituencies, including parent and alumni referral initiatives.
A track record of successful recruitment strategies and tactics to yield future growth
Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to write concisely, express thoughts clearly and develop ideas in a logical sequence
Master’s degree in business, marketing or other related field
Record of advancing effectiveness models to onboard and retain students
Strategic recruitment leadership across multiple campuses
