This is a full-time permanent position in the Center for Learning Innovation that supports faculty and staff use of Illinois Tech's learning management system, Blackboard. The majority of duties will include day-to-day support and oversight of the learning management system, Blackboard. This position will answer all LMS-related tickets and help instructors and students resolve questions and issues within Blackboard. In addition, this position will use his or her expertise in instructional technology and work with faculty and/or staff to develop, deliver, and effectively use digital content, tools, or related processes and procedures to help foster a high quality digital educational experience for Illinois Tech students.

Education & Experience:
Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree required. - 1-3 years experience, especially Blackboard and its related modules a plus. - Experience with digital media production is a plus. - Clear and concise writing skills - Quick learning aptitude and understanding of complex concepts - Self-starter who can take initiative
The position must be technically savvy and interested in learning how things work and how to help instructors find solutions for their teaching needs. Technical skills must be up to date on current learning management systems, web-conferencing tools, google apps, etc. Good organizational & project management skills are a plus, as is attention to detail. Must also enjoy working with customers and is interested in developing a very pro-active, team-based work environment.
