The Event & Education Coordinator plans and coordinates continuing education events, handles vendor relations and supports the association by performing the duties noted below. The association staff is small, but mighty and encourages a relaxed work environment. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Assist volunteers in coordinating live and virtual continuing education event development;
Oversight of speaker and agenda management; event accreditation; attendee, exhibit and sponsorship registrations and communications; venue coordination;
Assistance with event marketing;
Oversight of vendor partnerships, exhibits and sponsorships;
Other customer service and office duties as necessary.

Ability to produce accurate and high-quality work with little supervision.

Strong internet skills and willingness to adapt to technology changes. Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, various AMS and project management tools required.
Team player with excellent communication skills; active participation in staff & planning meetings.
Ability to travel to in-state events 2-3 times per year as needed.

25-30 hours per week with pay commensurate based upon experience.
