This is a leadership position that will be focused on leading the overall solution design for various clinical Business Intelligence (BI) development initiatives and overseeing the implementation of those designs. The candidate will be responsible for the delivery of clinical data assets in support of the OHSU Healthcare mission. These assets shall include, but are not limited to: clinical data marts, clinical metrics definition and implementation, clinical data feeds, and other clinical data integration solutions.
The incumbent will be responsible for the following project management activities:
Managing intake and service request demand of data project requests, triaging requests, assigning, and prioritizing work across available developer resources.
Planning and tracking of data storage, delivery, and integration projects.
Insuring cost effectiveness, utilization of fixed assets, horizontal and vertical communication, risk analysis, and quality assurance.
Identify and resolve issues related to work barriers, ensuring assigned projects are delivered within scope, schedule, budget and quality levels are consistent with partner/customer expectations.
The incumbent will be responsible for the following solution design activities:
Identification and prioritization of Caboodle Data Warehouse content build.
Development of the overall technical BI solution strategy for clinical data delivery in coordination with the reporting and business analysts, BI architecture, and the clinical stakeholders.
Observance and maintenance of OHSU BIAA data governance policies and practices during design and implementation.
Clinical content area data modeling in coordination with the healthcare data architect.
Providing design documentation to support business analysts and ETL developers during implementation and ensuring documentation is complete and adequately specified.
Overseeing the management and development of solution metadata, including maintenance of a report/data feed repository and data lineage as well as BI layer metadata management.
This position will curate and oversee the work of the clinical warehouse development team executing work for healthcare customers throughout the OHSU Healthcare System. Successful execution of this role requires the ability to work collaboratively with clinical and operational partners, BIAA architects, vendors, IT staff, and peer project managers. Deliverables by project teams should be in alignment with OHSUs growth as a health system.

Experience:
Five years experience in a complex technology environment.
Five years or more paid work experience as a Project Leader managing and implementing large scale information technology projects.
Minimum three years of experience facilitating user meetings and working sessions to identify and document requirements.
Minimum two years of experience as an Application Engineer or Developer (or equivalent classification) developing data warehouse objects and/or data integration ETL solutions.
Minimum three years of experience with the Epic Clarity Data Model.
Minimum two years of experience with the Epic Caboodle Data Model.
Minimum three years of experience with data analysis, data modeling, and data profiling.
Job related Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Successful candidates must show that they have significant organizational skills and can lead projects from conception, schedule, design, testing, through implementation
Experience with Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and ITIL processes and procedures.
Ability to read, write and maintain advanced SQL code.

Proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with utilizing star schema data stores as the basis for report development.
Ability to manage multiple projects on an ongoing basis with excellent attention to detail.
Ability to accurately document system technical artifacts at a level of detail sufficient for ongoing production support.
Understanding and enthusiastic support of following processes necessary for business intelligence development through a system development lifecycle (SDLC) or Agile/SCRUM methodology.
Registrations, Certifications, and/or Licenses:
Epic Caboodle Data Model Proficiency or Certification within 3 months of hire
PMP or Agile/SCRUM master certification within 1 year of hire
