As the Manager of Operations of the Spine Center at Lutheran Medical Center, you need to know how to:
Manage the daily operations of the department and collaborate with the department management team in planning, program development, human resource management, budget planning, customer satisfaction, patient safety, communication and compliance with regulatory agencies.
Evaluate service needs and volumes and adjust staffing levels accordingly.
Be responsible for problem solving to address issues relating to patient safety, care and service
Manage human resource functions such as interviewing, selection, orientation, education/training, feedback, performance evaluation, and policy and procedure development.
Participate in the preparation of operational and capital budgets.
Partner with the department director and leadership team to identify and drive quality and performance improvement initiatives.

Bachelorâ™s degree in business or healthcare related field.
Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory level experience in a healthcare related field.
