Kenwood Animal Hospital is seeking an enthusiastic, energetic, compassionate doctor to join our dedicated support staff. We are proud to offer full service veterinary care including surgical and dental care, laser therapy, acupuncture, and boarding and daycare options for our patients and clients.
We are an independently owned 6+ veterinarian small animal practice focused on providing high quality medicine in a compassionate, caring manner. Our family-oriented practice is supported by strong medical protocols, business practices, and progressive medicine. Our staff consists of veterinary assistants with long term experience and registered veterinary technicians with strong backgrounds in anesthesia, emergency, and critical care of patients.
We seek individuals committed to practicing high quality medicine, with initiative, integrity, effective communication skills, and who practice compassionate, professional care of patients, clients and co-workers. The large number of referral and specialty practices within a fifty mile radius of our location affords our doctors the luxury of offering the gold standard of advanced care to our clients without working extended and emergency hours.
Duties and Benefits:
Responsibilities of veterinary staff members include seeing appointments and performing comprehensive wellness care of patients, diagnosing and treating, participating in client education and marketing to establish and maintain long lasting client relationships.
Excellent 1st year starting salary: Guaranteed base with production-based commissions
Mentoring from veterinarians with decades of experience and expertise in diverse areas
Negotiable relocation allowance
No emergency/on call requirement

Maryland Veterinary License or eligible (must be licensed prior to start date)
Minimum of 2 years clinical experience preferred but new graduates considered
