| Position Number: 008081 Department: Office of OneIT (Adm) Employment Type: Permanent - Full-time Months Per Year: 12 Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Designs and maintains enterprise level reports and dashboards using standard reporting platforms and systems. Possesses a thorough understanding of how to use and build metadata. Ensures data and systems security, integrity, and compliance. Uses a combination of skills and experience in the areas of technical knowledge, technical solutions development, project management, consultancy, planning and organization, and systems technical support or administration. Duties support the OneIT Data & Analytics service goals including: 1) Data Security, Stewardship & Decision Support; 2) Enterprise report development and enhancements 3) Creation of documentation for reporting systems and departmental business processes. Minimum Experience / Education: Bachelor’s degree Preferred Education Skills and Experience: Two to three years of full-time experience in relational data base report design and analysis or technical/systems solutions development or related areas. Ability to develop and document solutions for moderate to complex report requests. Possesses experience and highly developed skills to create interactive data visualizations (e.g. WebFocus, Tableau or other moderately complex report writing software) or, if experience is in using another standard report writing applications, has the ability to learn/apply such skills/tools within first three months of start date. Solid knowledge of and desire to maintain good IT standards that support the software development life cycle Strong communication skills demonstrated in verbal, written, and presentations. Graduate certificate or master's degree in an IT-related field or equivalent work experience.
