Us

St. Vincent Healthcare is part of SCL Health, a faith-based, nonprofit healthcare organization that focuses on person-centered care. Our 286-bed level II trauma center has provided care in Montana and the surrounding area since 1898.  

This is a new initiative to bring a gender-specific navigator to guide women to and through all services that they might need throughout their lives. The Womenâ™s Navigator may not be the expert in each area, but can connect women with all services that they may need from high risk OB to menopause to surgical care or diagnosis and treatment of womenâ™s cancers, heart disease, weight management, preventative care, etc.

Your day

As a Womenâ™s Health Navigator you may not be the expert on each disease, but you can:

• Establish and support patient pathways to optimize womenâ™s health care experiences throughout their lives


• Answer womenâ™s health care questions, connect them with resources and assist with scheduling annual office visits and screens


• Educate yourself on resources available within SCL Health Montana to facilitate care among multiple providers and locations


• Support the Womenâ™s Health Service Line by participating in outreach activities

Your experience

We hire people, not resumes. But we also expect excellence, which is why we require:

• At least 5 years RN experience in womenâ™s health setting


• Ability to connect dynamically with women by telephone


• Past experience in autonomous program planning and evaluation, required


• BSN, required; MSN, preferred


• Current RN license to practice nursing in the state of Montana


• Current BLS certification


• Experience with health risk appraisal process and/or care coordination, preferred


• Experience in development of community health education initiatives, preferred


• Past management experience or supervisor experience, preferred.
