For our internal audit department in Luxembourg, we are currently looking to recruit an:
Internal Auditor Permanent contract
Role and Responsibilities:
Reporting to our Head of Internal Audit, the role holder will:
Be a proactive team player, who leads by example and works constructively across Global Internal Audit.
Deliver quality work within the given timeframes, standards, methodology, budget, and best practices.
Confirm accuracy of audit results and make sure that findings are clearly understood by stakeholders.
Keen willingness to learn and gain a solid understanding of the applicable Business, Functional, and Regulatory environment, including developing trends, risks, controls, and expectations.
Support a strong risk and conduct culture across the Group and promote awareness and sound operational and strategic decision-making.
Critically analyse and determine key drivers of change for area of coverage and assess how these will impact audits.
Use insights, industry knowledge and current developments to assess areas of concern.
The geographical remit of the role will cover Luxembourg, and its activities: Private Banking, Global Banking, Asset Management and Securities Services.
Experience and skills required:
Undergraduate or graduate degree in business, accounting, mathematics, or social sciences
1 – 2 years' relevant work experience in the Financial Services Sector, consultancy, and external audit will be considered, but is not always essential.
Relevant accounting, audit, analytical, financial, project management, programming, quantitative, risk, and technology skills, qualifications or certifications.
Preference given to qualified accounts, CIA, CISA, CFE, or ACAMS, or a clear willingness to commit to obtaining a relevant certification.
Analytical and critical thinker, who can effectively manage competing priorities and complex challenges to deliver positive outcomes.
Apply qualitative and quantitative methods to analyse and investigate challenging scenarios and situations.
Produce smart, simple, and pragmatic solutions.
Ability to communicate clearly and accurately with both internal clients and colleagues
Very good command of PC skills.
Perfect command of English, both in spoken and written, together with excellent communication skills are required for the role. A second European language such as French is also an advantage.
