The Little Animal Hospital in Port Washington, WI is seeking to hire a full time and part time associate small animal veterinarian. The clinic is well equipped with digital radiography for both regular radiographs and dentistry. We have ultrasound capabilities and a well -trained, long term support staff. Our clinic hours are 8-6 pm or 8-5 pm with a 2 hour lunch and ½ day on Saturday. There are no after-hours emergencies as the area boasts 2, 24 hours emergency and referral hospitals within 20 minutes of the clinic. Compensation is based on hours worked and experience.
Port Washington is a fast -growing city on the shores of beautiful Lake Michigan. The downtown has 2 swimming beaches within the city limits as well as a beautiful harbor for private and commercial fishing boats and several parks on the lakefront for walking, fishing and festivals in the summertime. The Interurban bike trail runs right through town and for miles both north and south of the city. Port Washington has easy access to Milwaukee and the northern suburbs and south to Sheboygan, as well as to several state parks and the Ice Age hiking trail. We have been established for over 30 years and serve a fast growing community located 30 miles north of Milwaukee on the shores of Lake Michigan. The practice enjoys a varied case load including triage for the local wildlife rehab center and caring for the Ozaukee county K9 officers. We have an in-house laboratory, digital radiography, ultrasound and a friendly flexible staff.
