Legal Recruiting and Professional Development Assistant The Legal Recruiting and Professional Development Assistant will work closely with the Legal Recruiting and Professional Development teams on implementing administrative support of the Firm’s non-partner legal recruiting and professional development initiatives. The Legal Recruiting and Professional Development Assistant maintains professionalism and strict confidentiality in all client and Firm matters. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but may not be limited to, the following. Other duties may be requested and/or assigned. Legal Recruiting - Provide administrative support to the Legal Recruiting team for the Firm’s recruiting programs, processes and initiatives.
- Assist with lateral and student recruiting processes, including, but not limited to, maintaining updated records and data entry in the recruiting database (viRecruit), monitoring recruiting inboxes, assembling Firm materials for campus recruiting initiatives, aiding in preparations for interviews and processing candidate expense reimbursements, as well as, general expenses incurred by Legal Recruiting.
- Assist with planning, coordinating and executing the annual summer associate program.
- Administer payments/reimbursements for bar preparation courses, Bar Exam registrations, relocation expenses and stipends for all incoming associates. Assist in the onboarding and due diligence process for summer and first-year associates.
- Perform special projects as requested and other responsibilities as needed in support of the Legal Recruiting team.
Professional Development - Provide administrative support to the Professional Development (PD) team for the Firm’s professional development programs, processes and initiatives.
- Assist with logistical aspects of PD programming, including scheduling events, reserving conference rooms, drafting and sending invitations, tracking invitees, coordinating with presenters, distributing materials, requesting video conference support, ordering meals, and managing expense reimbursements.
- Assist with CLE administration, including entering programs into the database; entering and validating attendance; entering third party certificates; collecting course materials, agendas, and registration/attendance records; and distributing certificates of attendance.
- Perform special projects as requested and other responsibilities as needed in support of the Professional Development team.
