The Humanities Research Center's Diluvial Houston Initiative (https://diluvialhouston.rice.edu) seeks a program administrator who will manage the initiative's activities. Key aspects would include administering speaker series, updating websites, assisting with grant management, and communicating with members of the Houston community about collaborative activities.
Ideal candidate would have event management and grant management experience. S/he would have taken courses or conducted research in environmental studies, or worked in an environmental organization. The person in this position would have demonstrated success in managing multiple projects with various deadlines at the same time.
This is a full-time, benefits eligible, two-year term limited position that is funded by a grant (this appointment is for 2021-22 and 2022-23 academic years)
