We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced, enthusiastic, motivated individual to be part of our Benefits team at Goldman Sachs and focus on developing and managing our health and welfare programs in the APAC region. OUR IMPACT The Benefits and Wellness team in APAC provides high value benefits packages across 14 locations with a focus on engagement, innovation, education and local compliance. We work closely with vendor partners and expert advisors to provide a high quality offering to employees. The ideal candidate will leverage their substantial benefits expertise to design and deliver a comprehensive benefits program to over 4,000 employees across the region. You will work with other internal groups (e.g., Legal, Tax, Finance and the Vendor Management Office) to deliver a best-in-class program. You will also be partnering with global counterparts in Americas, EMEA and India as well as colleagues across other HCM functions to develop and implement regional and global policies and initiatives. HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL - Manage country and region-specific health and welfare programs and act as an advisor to our people
- Drive innovation in contents and strategy of our health and welfare program to encourage engagement and consumerism
- Be the firm's risk manager as relates to health and welfare activities and provide strategic advice to mitigate and manage risks
- Be an advocate for inclusive-benefits and drive innovation on this front
- Project manage and drive development and flawless implementation of Reward programs, including managing provider transitions
- Manage, liaise and cultivate relationships with key vendors ensuring effective delivery of our services
- Stay abreast of market developments, trends, best practices and regulatory changes and advise on its implications on our strategy
- Advocate the firm's branding externally through employer awards participation
- Oversee and implement health and welfare related legislative requirements, investment and plan governance
- Manage program budget and financial reporting requirements in partnership with benefits operations, internal groups and external vendors
- Define, track and analyse key metrics, monitoring success of initiatives, optimizing the approach and reporting to key stakeholders to support program strategy development
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FOR BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor's degree with minimum 3-5 years of experience in relevant roles such as employee-related health and welfare programs, employee benefits brokerage and insurance planning
- Fluency in written and spoken English required, fluency in written and spoken Mandarin preferred
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Project Management - Strong project manager who is highly organized with excellent attention to detail and follow through. Drives accountability and works effectively to deadlines
- Analytical skills - ability to review current process and/or data to draw and communicate conclusions
- Commercial/Financial acumen - ability to understand budget processes, vendor commercial structures and financial reconciliations/reporting
- Organizational Skills - Strong organizational ability and skills with superior attention to detail; ability to project manage and multi-task effectively and provide overall organization to multiple concurrent projects and initiatives
- Communication - Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and interpersonal relationship management skills with an ability to lead meetings, develop print and online communications and present to key stakeholders
- Teamwork - Function as part of a team in a fast paced environment that demands energy, creativity and collaboration
- Relationship Building / Client Service - ability to build relationships and work effectively with others including consultants, vendor partners, external and internal stakeholders and senior leaders across different levels, functions and regions
- Flexibility - Partner and take initiative from various managers and leaders with different approaches to work and desired outcomes
- Stakeholder Engagement - Comfortable managing multiple stakeholders, driving consensus and influencing outcomes
- Results-oriented - Balance multiple, time-sensitive projects while maintaining a longer term strategic focus
