You bring your body, mind, heart and spirit to your work as a Behavioral Health Monitor Technician in the Emergency Department.
Youâ™re ready to roll up your sleeves. Eager to ask questions. And willing to go above and beyond to ease a patientâ™s pain.
Youâ™re great at what you do, but you want to be part of something even greater. Because you believe that while individuals can be strong, the right team is invincible.
Our renovated Emergency Department is located on the most western side of the metro area, boasting an accredited chest pain center, comprehensive stroke center, Senior ER, 24/7 orthopedic surgeons and state-of-the-art technology. Our 50 individual patient treatment rooms are universally designed for rapid, high-quality care and privacy while the size and layout of each patient room better accommodates our associates with specialized equipment.
Our dedicated Fast Track area is located closer to the walk-in entrance, allowing patients with less serious conditions to be served faster without impacting space availability for more acute or critical care patients. We also boast a specially-designed area intended for Behavioral Health patients, with individual rooms and a dedicated nursesâ™ station, allowing for a more private and secure care environment.
Lutheran Medical Center is part of SCL Health, a faith-based, nonprofit healthcare organization that focuses on person-centered care. Our 249-bed community-based hospital provides comprehensive, specialty care to the poor, the vulnerable, our communities and each other. Dating back to 1905, we are proud of the rich history and inspiring mission our hospital has embodied for over 110 years.
Benefits are one of the ways we encourage health for you and your family. Our generous package includes medical, dental and vision coverage. But health is more than a well-working body: it encompasses body, mind and social well-being. To that end, weâ™ve launched a Healthy Living program to address your holistic health. Healthy Living includes financial incentives, digital tools, tobacco cessation, classes, counseling and paid time off. We also offer financial wellness tools and retirement planning.
Together weâ™ll align mission and careers, values and workplace. Weâ™ll honor each otherâ™s dignity and surpass the standards we set. Weâ™ll encourage joy, demand safety and take pride in our integrity.
Weâ™ll laugh at each otherâ™s jokes (even the bad ones). Weâ™ll hello and high five. Weâ™ll celebrate milestones and acknowledge the value of spirituality in healing.
Weâ™re proud of what we know, which includes how much there is to learn.
