Our Operating Room boasts 9 surgical suites with one heart room and one cystoscopy room. Main OR specialties include: OB-GYN, Orthopedics (largest service line), General Surgery, Cardiac, Neuro, ENT, Urology, Plastics and Podiatry. We also have DaVinci robotics on-site.

Your day.
As a PSCU / PACU Clinical RN Manager, you need to know how to:
- Manages operations of 24-hour departments. Manages licensed and non-licensedpersonnel in the provision of care to patients as assigned. Establishes, implements, and maintains patient care and service standards. Acts as practice change champion.
- Manages daily staffing and productivity. Promotes department sustainability and costcontainment efforts to achieve budget. Assists director with development of annual budget, equipment needs and forecasts, and capital planning. Oversees and develops standards of care and standards of practice, directs fiscal management, and quality improvement activities.
- Manages licensed and non-licensed associates in the provision of care to patients in theassigned unit/department. Evaluates associate performance and provides timely feedback and opportunities for improvement. Partners with human resources business partner to address associate relations and disciplinary issues. Utilizes feedback and data from annual survey to improve associate and physician engagement. Creates an environment conducive to professional staff growth to promote recruitment, retention, and qualitypatient care.
- Aligns service goals and objectives to support department and hospital strategies.Proactively develops quality indicators and quality improvements for service line/ Incorporates department protocols for specific patient populations in planning practice and documentation. Designs and evaluates processes to improve systems and patient care results across the continuum of care.
- Acts as an extension of the Director by performing selected leadership duties as delegatedby the Director.
- Develops and monitors budgets for the appropriate use of human and material resources.Monitors financial performance and identifies and implements strategies to reduce costs and improve quality of care/service. Determines the appropriate staff mix for department and develops processes to screen, interview, hire, train, and maintain the competency of all department staff. Ensures ongoing staff development. Manages and resolves human resource, employee and department safety, and risk management issues.
- Develops, implements, and monitors departmental policy and procedures which supportthe organizations goals and business objectives and ensures they are met.
Your experience.
We hire people, not resumes. But we also expect excellence, which is why we require:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited school of nursing (BSN), required
- Current Colorado RN license or compact license with the ability to obtain Colorado RN license, required
- Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association or the ability to obtain within sixty (60) days of hire (with prior approval), required (ACLS/NRP/PALS as appropriate for unit or service)
- Minimum of five (5) years of clinical RN experience, required
- Minimum of (3) years of experience in progressive RN leadership positions, required
