Director of Planning and Business Development

Education & Training: Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree in Health Care Administration, Business or related field preferred.

Work Orientation & Experience:  A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in strategy, planning, finance, business development or operations applicable to a health care environment.  Demonstrated success with advanced health system planning and market development, and facilitation of Certificate of Need (CON) processes and project management.

Skills & Abilities: Candidate must have strong, communication (writing and orally), data analytics, project management and leadership skills.  Ability to work well with staff at all levels.  Proficiency in health care data software systems, and PowerPoint, Access, Word and Excel.  Incumbent must also be a self-starter and results oriented, with the ability to balance process and results.  Detail-oriented but can also see the big picture. Attentive to deadlines and changing priorities, a team player, creative yet precise in the development of presentations.  Candidate should have a demonstrated record of collaborating and negotiating with teams, and supporting projects of all sizes in a variety of methods and environments.
