The J.P. Morgan CEE M&A and Corporate Finance Team has a strong reputation with an exemplary track record and is recognised by clients, other advisors and competitors as one of the leading franchises in the market and the position will be based out of London
Origination and execution of mergers & acquisitions and broader corporate finance transactions alongside other bankers from the group as well as colleagues from other industry and product teams
As an Investment Banking Analyst, your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Performing complex financial valuation, discounted cash flow and multiples-based analyses
Transaction execution: support due diligence, document preparation, negotiation etc and liaising with relevant counterpart at the client/ other advisers (accounting, legal etc.)
Support the preparation of presentation books, management presentations, Board materials, Memorandums, and other presentation materials for use in M&A and capital markets transactions or strategic client dialogue
Structuring and execution of transactions (M&A / equity capital markets / debt capital markets)
Executing end-to-end client transactions
Work with J.P. Morgan industry and product team
The work is fast-paced, demanding and intellectually stimulating. We look for candidates with the following:
Relevant work experience at international investment bank (M&A, industry teams, Leverage Finance), consulting firm, private equity, Big 4, or similar is preferable but not a requirement
Strong academic background
Outstanding financial analysis and modelling skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work well under pressure and tight deadlines
Solid communication and project management skills
In-depth understanding of investment banking products (can be enhanced and further built via training)
Experience in dealing with clients and other transactional advisers (can be enhanced and further built via training)
Strong team player
Proficient in MS office applications, knowledge of Bloomberg preferred
Central Eastern European language skills (preferred but not a requirement)
