Our practice is located in the college town of Salisbury, Maryland, thirty minutes from the beach and two hours from Washington DC. The hospital has been here for 75 years so there is a wonderful sense of family and caring within the community. For example, people stop to help you if you’re having car trouble. Dr. Peters is the Medical Director. Recently one of his client’s daughters brought her fiancée in to meet Dr. Peters to get his opinion of her fiancée. She likes ballet. Dr. Peter’s asked her fiancée if he liked ballet. He said, “I do if she’s in it!” There is a large regional medical center and great public and private schools.
Busy 3.5 DVM rural practice in Salisbury, Maryland seeks veterinarian for a dream job:
-3 experienced veterinarians to collaborate with,
- Loyal long-term motivated staff,
-Digital whole body and digital dental, in house lab, endoscope, therapeutic laser, fully equipped dental suite,
-Opportunity to get advanced training in dentals with Dr. Luskin at Duke,
-Renovation is building is underway,
-2 three-day weekends/month and no emergency,
-No emergency, 1 out of 3 Saturdays,
-Great case mix.
We are seeking a veterinarian with:
-GREAT communication skills (ability to communicate clearly with veterinarians, technicians, and clients alike),
-passionate about veterinary medicine,
-desire to collaborate, learn and grow in veterinarian medicine,
-exotic experience is a plus,
-long-term commitment to a superb community.
Compensation and benefits:
Compensation; $90K-$120K depending on experience, medical insurance, 2 weeks’ vacation, stipend for continuing education, license fees, association membership, 401K, and some relocation expenses paid.
