We are searching for our new colleague for the role of PROJECT MANAGER.
In accordance with generally accepted engineering principles, the Project Manager role coordinates and manages various product development projects through all phases of initiation, engineering, testing, release and subsequent support .
Project management responsibilities include:
scheduling/planning across multiple functional areas
coordinating outside development resources and factored product acquisitions
providing continuation engineering for existing products
responsibility for the definition and clear communication of project priorities
delivering project expectations, and identifying and mitigating issue/risk among a cross-functional project team
representing the best interest of the business unit.
The Project Manager role may, at times, assist in the development of business and marketing strategies optimizing the performance of new and existing product lines to achieve business objectives.
This requires the Project Manager to maintain an understanding of the BU's business practices (finance, portfolio plans, strategy, etc.) and provide input to the engineering organization in regards to technical staff coordination, resource allocation, performance feedback and development planning.
Bachelor Degree in Engineering discipline or equivalent experience
Minimum 2+ years of experience in product development or in a leadership role.
Fluent both Czech and English
Proven ability to lead multiple teams, partner with management to resolve conflicts and lead indirect resources.
Effectively communicates and facilitates presentations (internally and externally).
Demonstrated experience in leading product development efforts.
Proven ability to direct resources, plan project activities and balance financial budgets.
Recognizable knowledge of detailed product development processes.
Preferred experience in information security and approval process with TUV or other approving agencies.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies, such as Scrum, SAFe, XP or Kanban is a plus.
PMP professional certification or other Project management certification is a big advantage
