The Technical Program Manager (TPM) plays a key role within the MES development organization. The TPM works across the MES development teams to ensure development projects and improvement projects are managed, coordinated and aligned in a global fashion. The TPM will directly report and account to the Director of SW engineering for MES.
Ensures that the multitude of projects are understood and controlled in regards to scope, time, and costs
Covers certain aspects of an RTE, as coordinating releases, ensuring common coordinating PIs and iterations
Acts as the internal ambassador for all MES software projects and provides content, quality and costs transparency
Collects and monitors agile KPIs, escalate impediments, drives continuous improvement across the teams
Works with corporate program manager to align the investment capacity between engineering and finance
Works in a matrix organization to align on processes and internal improvements initiatives
Aligns with Quality Management to ensure process compliance
Ensures continuous increased maturity on process / SCRUM / SAFE, including quality of estimates, PBL health, refinement of Epic/Story/Tasks
Ensures internal improvement projects are in scope, timeline, budget
Ensures coordination between PO and PM
Manages overall capacity planning and cost reflections across teams
We expect you to have:
Successfully completed master's degree in a technical field (computer science, engineering)
5+ years of relevant professional experience
Affinity for digitalization and IT systems
Strong analytical, structural and strategic thinking and working skills as well as the ability to understand complex interrelationships and present them in an understandable way
Knowledge of MS-Office and project management methods as well as experience in presentation and moderation in the English language
Strong communication skills, confident appearance and the drive to build networks
Willingness to travel and high interest in intercultural experience
Work permit for Europe
