Broking Services provides full investment services in stocks, bonds, currencies, precious metals, commodities and derivatives to retail, corporate customers and financial intermediaries. As a leading full service broker dealer in Hong Kong, our investment services include advisory, execution, risk and portfolio management, custodianship, and margin financing.
We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior eBroking Manager.
Plan and implement the strategy, business proposition and initiatives to grow the digital business of Broking Services and deliver holistic investment products and services to meet customer's needs
Develop and execute digital transformation projects across mobile, browser and public website platforms to enhance customer engagement, revenue, sales and service efficiency and satisfaction
Engage and influence senior management and major stakeholders for buy-in and support on key initiatives in terms of project scope, requirements, resources, budget, schedule, risk mitigation measures, contingency plan, etc
Closely monitor the market conditions and the competitors' strategies, benchmark digital performance and processes against industry best practice, recommend and drive strategies and changes to grow the business and address major gaps or issues as appropriate
Work collaboratively across teams within HSBC Broking, WPB & HOST, identify customers' needs and design customer experience journeys and solutions covering all investment products and customers across Broking Services
Plan and manage digital readiness activities including UAT, training, procedure manual, communication, release management
Ensure digital platforms and services are fully compliance with the regulatory and internal requirements, manage and mitigate risks associated with digital platforms by working closely with relevant risk stewards and various stakeholders
Oversee, evaluate and provide insights regarding the performance of digital channels and wholesales business
Handle ad-hoc projects as required by business or management and coordinate for implementation and communication
University degree holder or equivalent
Good knowledge in investment products and/or digital services provided by banks and/or retail broking firms such as trading of equities, futures, options, bonds, structured products, leverage FX, bullions, etc
Experience in driving wealth and/or digital projects including identification of opportunities and developing business cases, defining product or service requirements, engaging a wide range of functional experts for development and deployment, project execution, launch, and post launch performance measurement and management
Strong analytical skills and problem solving skills, being able to translate business problems into a set of digital requirements and ability to consider alternative solutions
Good communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills, and ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders to agree on scope and requirements
Able to work independently, handle and manage challenging tasks and deadlines
Strong people manager, able to lead teams and develop others
Proficiency in both English and Chinese
Currently registered under SFC Type 1 Regulated Activity. Candidate does not have SFC Type 1 license, he or she will be required to pass HKSI Licensing Exam Papers 1,7 and 8
Understanding or experience of the HSBC Group, its culture, policies and procedures, or similar global organisations would be a bonus
