We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a SEO and ASO Manager.
A market based SEO Specialist reporting to ASP Regional SEO Lead and ASP Head of Content Management, with responsibility to deliver SEO compliancy in all content production activities following HSBC Global SEO guidelines and adding local expertise.
They will also be the direct line of contact for any BAU content production delivered within so as to ensure compliancy. Where required the SEO Specialist will contract and manage agencies and external contractors as required to ensure best practices are delivered.
The SEO Specialist should have knowledge of Social, Paid Search and other traffic acquisition channels techniques. The SEO Specialist will also be responsible for performance reporting within their region to the Head of Content Studio and SEO Lead.
Lead the user experience & copywriting for Digital Platforms and Products in the AMH market by creating clear, elegant Chinese and English, with suitable communications for Hong Kong audiences from a variety of backgrounds, for all devices supported by the digital journeys
Create compelling copywriting standard and engaging tone of voice for digital products for Hong Kong market that leverage HSBC's global guidance
Curate user experience on digital product content horizontally across digital products – ensuring that copywriting is executed in line with digital design principles, customer experience objectives and branding guidelines
Optimise and reconfigure existing digital product content to adhere to UX best practice
Leverage content A/B testing, research and customer interviews to determine customer pain points and optimize the digital product content
Have a clear understanding of customer needs, market trends and business value from user experience perspective
People manage other Digital Copywriter in the team
Proven SEO Experience
Must be fluent in English and Traditional Chinese speaking, writing, and reading. Fluency in Simplified Chinese is an advantage
Demonstrable understanding of other traffic acquisition channels
Knowledge of Conversion Marketing
Experience of Adobe Analytics, Omniture SiteCatalyst and relevant Search Engine Consoles
Experience working with locally relevant keyword and optimisation tooling
Experience and understanding of web publishing tools, content management systems and capabilities and automated translation platforms
Previous experience in a translation or localisation environment
Knowledge of digital best practice including SEO, writing for web, optimisation and accessibility
Strong analytical, and planning skills and the ability to work with multiple teams.
Innovative with the ability to approach things differently or do different things to deliver goals
Highly developed communication skills, both written and verbal, to explain complex or technical issues
Pragmatic decision making skills, with the ability to make clear judgments based on a range of factors, for example commercials, risk, customer experience, determine the implications and make recommendations as needed
Strong relationship management and influencing skills to satisfy a wide range of internal and external customers with conflicting priorities
Strong understanding of information systems, business processes, the key drivers and measures of success
