Job Summary: Provide professional administrative and coordination for the Office of Grant and Contract Services. The Coordinator I is a new position that will help facilitate pre- and post- award contracts and grants administration and a variety of interrelated operational responsibilities, including OGCS communications and serving as a liaison with internal and external customers. The position will report to the Director of the Office of Grant and Contract Services. Essential Duties: Performs administrative functions in the coordination of OGCS which include: event planning (Lunch and Learn webinars, Grant Writing Workshops, Department Research Administrators meetings), project management, answering main phone line, email triage, complete forms, receive and track office documents, and/or other similar functions. Manage limited submission process – find limited submission opportunities and update website, prepare bimonthly emails, oversee internal competitions, notify participants of results. Manage payroll confirmation process – provide trainings, answer general questions, follow up on outstanding confirmations. Interacts with other university offices, departments and outside agencies and consultants in administering programs. Performs other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or two (2) years related experience. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree. Two (2) years of related experience in Research Administration or the equivalent experience. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Advanced skill with MS Word, Teams, Excel, Outlook and Adobe.
