The Senior Analyst position for the CBRE Business Analytics group supports business intelligence projects focused on real estate data analyses for CBRE's US-based and global clients. Through data warehousing, visualization, and examination, this position helps our clients optimize their operations across all service lines: facilities management, project management, finance, portfolio administration, cost forecasting, etc.
The senior sales analyst works closely with our sales team and database technical team to develop Tableau dashboards that leverage client data from various sources to generate meaningful client insights and support the sales and client solutions team.
Additionally, the CBRE Business Analytics group helps our clients develop budgets, benchmark facility operating costs, and predict upcoming capital requirements. An analyst supports projects to collect the requisite client real estate data, build and refine cost models using CBRE tools, and present a meaningful financial story in formal reports and briefings.
The ideal candidate possesses a broad skill set. Required skills include: strong technical capabilities with data manipulation and data modeling; advanced Tableau knowledge; working in a team environment; and advanced communication skills. Experience in the corporate real estate outsourcing industry is preferred. Minimum of five years of experience. Advanced degree not required but preferred.
This position may be performed remotely anywhere within the United States except the State of Colorado.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Create, maintain and optimize creative data visualizations and dashboards in Tableau to derive actionable intelligence.
Aggregation and analysis of quantitative data; forecast and trending of performance data.
Provide subject matter expertise on data-related processes and analyses.
Support sales leads with business intelligence and facility cost analyses during the sales process for a variety of corporate and government clients.
Collect key financial and real estate portfolio data from clients for inclusion in cost models.
Support sales pipeline, commercial pricing requests, internal and external presentation deliverables.
Provide support and administration for sales demo environment.
Other related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university. Master's degree or MBA preferred. Minimum 5+ years of related experience.
