As part of the Specialty Health Business Transformation and Innovation team, the Sr. Associate Business System Analyst uses their skills to define product requirements, develop process flows and maps, collect and evaluate future enhancements for the product backlog. You will work closely with customers, stakeholders, SMEs and technology development teams to ensure the solutions effectively meet the business and technical requirements. As part of an Agile development team, the Sr. Associate Business System Analyst will responsible for guiding the team to make requirements a reality.
Section A -General Responsibilities
Prepare and lead various customer-focused user groups to elicit business and workflow requirements
On-going interface between business and the different development teams
Ensures stakeholder requirements are captured, analyzed, justified, and included in development by reviewing regulatory requirements, feedback from user groups, and pilot programs
Recommend solutions and offerings
Understand and support an iterative, cross-functional product development life cycle
Work with Agile Scrum to support Product Owner; these cross-functional teams are tasked with enhancing our Patient Services technology offerings.
Within scrum, owns requirements for new products or enhancements to existing products, develop and write user stories, acceptance testing, sprint demos, pilot management
Acts as the subject matter expert on new offerings, providing knowledge transfer to other teams (e.g. training, Sales, support, etc.)
Participate in Agile team meetings (iteration planning, daily scrums/stand-ups, retrospectives etc.)
Participate in Product Management team meetings (roadmap planning, release planning), and other inter-team meetings
Section B - Specific Responsibilities
Proactively test and manage system bugs
Proactively identify, define, track and manage future enhancements
Provide User and Stakeholder Support and Training, including day to day end user support of the Salesforce platform, and onboarding new employees
Provide in-person and virtual training of users at all levels in the organization, ranging from 1-on-1 training to training for medium sized groups (30-40 users)
Partner with internal customers at all levels, ranging from leadership to end-users, to identify and address areas of improvement, additional functionality, training and support
Partner with other divisions within the company to ensure successful collaboration and sharing of data, contacts, leads, procedures, processes, knowledge and more
Create and maintain documentation on processes, policies, application configuration and help related materials for users (e.g. Reference Guide)
Manage supplication user profiles and permission sets
Perform Ongoing System Administration
Section C - Position Requirements
Minimum 2- 3 years of experience in program operations or in an analytical role within programs
Experience in patient program service platforms (e.g. Salesforce, Maple and CMSv2 and associate programs)
2 - 3 years of experience working with other Specialty Units (e.g. Pharmacy, Inviva Nursing)
Experience with Salesforce is an asset
Familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint, PowerApps, Power Automate.
Strong familiarity with the business processes and workflow associated with Patient Programs, Pharmacy, Inviva and reimbursement is preferred
Experience in the health care sector an asset
Ability to do minimal travel
Bilingual -- English/French is an asset
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills and is an effective communicator with diverse audiences, including both technical and non-technical customers and colleagues
Demonstrated ability to lead and participate effectively in cross-functional teams
Ability to facilitate diverse stakeholder discussions and negotiate requirements
Strong analytical skills
Ability to manage multiple projects/timelines
Ability to effectively prioritize and escalate issues as required
Display a high level of critical thinking in a cross-functional process and well-developed problem resolution skills for new and existing software solutions
Ability to be pro-active with a sense of urgency with a focus on the positive
Well-versed in business analysis and functional requirements specification, including writing user stories
Skilled at creating well-defined acceptance criteria at the feature and story level
Organized, methodical with rigorous work approach
Experience in project management, its practices, techniques and tools
Be a self-starter, a highly motivated person able to work in a fast-paced environment that is continually changing
Six Sigma training would be an asset
