The Salesforce Administrator is responsible for all facets of Illinois Tech's Salesforce platform, including related applications across the CRM environment, such as Marketing Cloud and the Education Data Architecture (EDA). The Admin is the subject-matter expert for Salesforce and related CRM applications. The Admin reports to the Manager, Systems and Services, in the Enterprise Systems department of the Office of Technology Services.

Education & Experience:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
3 years (minimum) experience as a Salesforce administrator/developer.
Experience in the administration and maintenance of Salesforce systems.
Experience in performing Salesforce upgrades and ensuring successful integrations.
Experience with troubleshooting email campaigns, workflows, approval cycles, and auto-responders that generate excessive bounced emails.
Knowledge of and experience in Salesforce Security and Marketing Cloud are required.
Knowledge of and experience in Sales Cloud and EDA are preferred.
Experience with identity management and integration a plus.
Experience deploying and maintaining a security layer a plus.
Experience in merging multiple Salesforce environments a plus.
Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, and handle and prioritize simultaneous requests.
Demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex requirements/ information into common parlance and distinguish between users' vocalized requests and the underlying heart of their needs.
Demonstrated ability to review login history tables to spot any user lockouts, excessive login errors, and unexpected IP addresses.
Apex experience is preferred.
Knowledge & Skills:
The successful candidate must possess experience with managing SLA expectations, the production-support model, and the rotational-support model. The abilities to successfully work independently and with groups are also a must.
Ability to build complex reports and dashboards within Salesforce.
Ability to handle SSO, multifactor authentication, and certificate problems.
