| Suwanee Animal Hospital is a group of general practitioners located in one of Atlanta's most beautiful and well loved suburbs, Suwanee. We are accepting applications for full or part time associate veterinarian. You have an opportunity to join our outstanding team and established practice of thirty years. We are seeking a veterinarian with outstanding work ethic and great communication skills. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, and our veterinary salaries are very competitive. Our progressive practice is well equipped and includes ultrasound, digital x-ray (conventional and dental specific), endoscopes, class IV cold laser, etc. Our veterinarians have very reasonable schedules (35-40 hrs/week) without after hours emergency requirements, yet are expected to be fully dedicated to the care of our patients. The hospital is well staffed with seasoned technicians and great support staff. We are a large practice with ten veterinarians, each with their own special skill sets and a team oriented approach. We hope to find someone who will add their special skills and attributes while also learning from our seasoned team of vets. We do a lot of dentistry and are very interested in expanding our dental scope. A veterinarian interested in dental work would be given opportunity to learn and improve. We proudly serve our community and enjoy our great demographics, as we hope you will too. The owner, Dr. Margaret Fitzgerald, has always been pro-active about bringing in and using new technologies. Accordingly, we have been using Ultrasound as a central part of our diagnostics suite since the early 90’s and most of our doctors have become very adept. We have a top of the line ultrasound unit with all three probes as well as an IPad Blue tooth unit for house calls and as a back up unit. We encourage our doctors to share their ultrasound knowledge/experience with each other. We recently moved into our newly constructed 17,000 square foot facility with many state of the art improvements. We are very excited about the change, as we have been working in a crowded facility for several years.
