Albright College, a liberal arts college in Reading, PA, is seeking applications for a Business and Information Analyst. The Business Process and Applications department within Information Technology (Digital Strategy and Infrastructure) division is responsible for providing various departments at Albright College with analytical tools and business process support. The position will report directly to the Vice President of Digital Strategy and Infrastructure (IT) and will have the opportunity to learn and develop skills from other Information Technology peers.
Essential Job Functions:
Develop ad-hoc and automated reports for decision support. Work with other technology team members to develop high level and operational dashboards using MS SQL reporting services and other tools.
Understand, document and help improve business processes within various divisions.
Help develop, revise and maintain policies, procedures, workflow documentation and data stewardship standards to ensure integrity at all times.
Lead business analytics efforts to produce actionable information that empower decision makers and stake holders across the campus. Work with functional areas to communicate how the data best suits their needs.
Analyze data to ensure record integrity, accuracy, logic and relevance. Recommend best use and practices when it comes to data integrity and stewardship.
Work to educate end-users on data gathering, processes and data management issues through documentation using multiple mediums (video, documents).
Develop and maintain actionable reports. Generate ad-hoc or on-demand mailing lists for mass mailings, queries, and reports, as needed by various departments.
Work with Hosting partners staff on monitoring and maintaining Albright’s SQL server data systems. Making reconditions to DSI leader on cleanup and maintenance options.
Work closely with the Business Process and Application team to support and maintain various applications, both custom and vendor supported.
Perform additional responsibilities as designated by the Vice President for Digital Strategy and Infrastructure/CIO.

Flexibility to perform daily recurring tasks while at the same time working on various longer-term departmental projects.

Related Bachelor's degree and/or 4+ years of relevant experience
