Position Summary The Content Manager, eCommerce, leads the strategy and execution for all eCommerce content marketing initiatives at Oatey. As an integral part of our effort to optimize our brand footprint across eCommerce platforms, you will ensure the quality, consistency and effectiveness of all eCommerce content programs. Collaborating cross-functionally, you will be accountable for the planning, creation, distribution and measurement of eCommerce content for a range of retail partners (Amazon, Home Depot, Lowes, etc.). Combining an understanding of consumer behavior and path to purchase with an eye for brand and editorial excellence, you will elevate Oatey’s online presence and drive eCommerce traffic, engagement, leads, sales and customer retention.
Accountable for all ecommerce content marketing initiatives to drive traffic, engagement, leads, that deliver sales and customer retention.
Collaborates across functions to deliver an effective ecommerce content marketing strategy and editorial plan to meet the business objectives
This role requires a brand publisher mindset: create the content our audience is looking for and then to optimize the path to conversion
Editorial requirements include basic SEO understanding, content categorization and structure, content development, distribution and measurement.
Development of editorial governance so content is consistent with our brand voice, style and tone.
Editorial calendar and organization workflows must be developed and managed.
Measurement and optimization of the program will be required on a regular and ongoing basis
Management of all creative projects through resources including designers, writers, and other agency personnel
Leads, coaches, and develops the Content Specialist, eCommerce to ensure goals and objectives are met, supporting individual performance and growth.
Integration of content programs with brand campaigns to drive brand to demand.
Executive presentations on the program approaches and results will be required

Knowledge and Experience
Ability to analyze and present content and social performance
Project management skills and understanding how to manage the priorities of multiple stakeholders in a complex environment and focus on the delivery of results in the form of engagement, leads and sales
Proven work experience as a Content marketing manager
Proficiency in MS Office and Content Management Software
Editorial mindset with an ability to predict audience preferences
Hands on experience with SEO and web traffic metrics
Project management skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and writing skills in English
Education and Certification
BA/BS or equivalent working experience
Preferred Content Marketing Certifications
