The Open Education Network (OEN) is a diverse community that works together to make higher education more open, equitable, and accessible. Launched in 2014, the OEN has grown to include more than 1,000 higher education member campuses in the U.S. The librarians, instructional designers and administrators at those campuses are at the heart of our community, and are committed to taking action to support student learning through open education practices, including the adoption and creation of open educational resources (OER).
The OEN is hiring a digital content strategist to create and share web content and stories about the work OEN members are doing, manage our website, and promote the use of related resources and best practices to a broad higher education audience. Our goal is to create stories and content experiences that are useful to our audiences, including how open educational practices can support diversity, equity and inclusion, and move them to act. Our digital channels are opportunities to build relationships and amplify the open education work that is being accomplished across the country and around the world.

On our small team, you’ll be responsible for content strategy across several programmatic areas, as well as copywriting, designing, and maintaining our creative content and platforms, including our website.
