Department: Kellogg Human Capital Salary/Grade: EXS/7 Job Summary: Supports the Senior Human Capital Partner (HCP) in managing and coordinating a broad range of Human Capital deliverables across Kellogg. Responsible for providing assistance to the Kellogg Human Capital team focused on talent acquisition, data and analytics, and operational excellence. In this role the Human Capital Partner would also be involved in initiatives such as performance and talent management, talent development, compensation activities in addition to leading short-term defined scope projects. This position also provides assistance to the Human Capital Director with the execution of projects and proactively partners with the Senior HC Partners to ensure the achievement of Kellogg’s strategic objectives. This role may provide direct client support to managers, and senior leaders with the guidance of a Senior HCP. Specific Responsibilities: Human Capital Acquisition - Partner with the Senior HCP to assist with recruiting efforts and manage resource needs for general staffing.
- Responsible for ensuring Kellogg is creating a diverse pipeline of candidates for current and future open positions and adhering to diverse slates
- Ensure a cohesive candidate experience during the recruiting process that embodies the Kellogg culture.
Human Capital Development - Participate in the coordination and implementation of specific programs designed to accelerate talent development and strengthen internal talent pipelines.
Human Capital Metrics - Support data and analytics reporting to develop, validate and report relevant metrics on a regular schedule for human capital related information and trends that can be used for insights and to influence decision making by the Senior HCP’s and senior leaders of the business units.
- Supports the team to produce a Human Capital dashboard with key metrics on a quarterly basis.
- Pull a set of Human Capital reports for the team’s use on a monthly cadence
Human Capital Operations Support - Partner with the Senior HCP by providing assistance with the execution of ongoing HC processes and activities related to performance management, talent management, compensation, and change management and employee engagement efforts.
- Handle escalated issues by collaborating with the respective HCP to research and determine appropriate resolutions.
- Provide client support for smaller, less complex teams with guidance from the Senior HCP.
- Resolve technical issues within function or unit.
- Analyze needs, develop and recommend alternatives for improvements to processes, customer service or products.
Miscellaneous - Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications: - Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in an accredited college or university leading to a bachelor's or higher degree; OR appropriate combination of education and experience.
- 2- 5 years of HR related work experience.
- Problem solving and client relationship experience
