UCI Law, founded just ten years ago, is the newest public law school in California in nearly 50 years and is currently ranked 23rd nationally by U.S. News & World Report. UCI Law seeks to train lawyers for the practice of law at the highest levels of the profession and has created a community of law students from a broad spectrum of society.
The Project Manager designs and administers operational activities and course design for a CEO-focused program in consultation with Deans and other participating faculty. Administers major program components, and some or all of the program's operational requirements. Develops and organizes related talks and adjacent programming. Ensures program meets the goal of providing exceptional programming for executives at the highest level and provides recommendations for future programming. Works under direction of a senior Academic Program Officer in a matrix environment to establish agenda and objectives.
At least 3-5 years of experience of project management and design.
Significant and meaningful instructional design experience.
Advanced degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.
Terminal degree in a related field preferred (PhD, JD, MD, etc.).
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Strong ability to think creatively and independently on concepts requiring advanced analytical skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse groups to achieve results.
Strong ability to work collaboratively with internal and external peers and managers.
Knowledge of the technical tools and platforms required to achieve the delivery of engaging and media-rich online learning content.
Knowledge and skills with relevant business software systems and content creation tools.
Knowledge with web conferencing, lecture capture, learning technologies and eLearning authoring tools.
Knowledge of quality online course frameworks, learning data analysis/metrics reporting.
Advanced degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training
Academic background and experience in selected area of research preferred.
Thorough knowledge of administrative, budgetary, human resources and financial principles and practices.
Knowledge with learning management systems, Canvas LMS preferred.
Special Conditions Preferred:
May be required to work evenings and weekends.
May be required to travel to campus.
