| Equine Veterinarian, Western WA. Foothills Veterinary Hospital, Buckley WA is seeking a full time, equine veterinary associate for our well established private practice in Buckley, WA. Our culture is that of a family oriented practice. We are a team practice. We are not corporate. Salary is very competitive and depends on experience. We use the ProSal method of payment, which often enables an employee to exceed their base salary. The associate veterinarian we have currently, has exceeded her base salary every month. FVH is 75% small animal, 10% exotics (pet pigs, rabbits) and 15% horses. Recreation abounds from the ocean to the mountains where skiing, boating, camping, fishing, biking, horseback riding and more. FVH is 45 minutes from Seattle and all its “culture”. Seattle is also home to Amazon, Microsoft and Boeing, whom employ people that can financially take care of their pets. This is a financial security for our business and those we hire. Veterinary practice support : small animal and equine DR units, ultrasound, digital dental radiography, IM3 dental suites, extensively used cold laser, Idexx in house diagnostics. We have a climate controlled indoor equine treatment area and an enclosed equine arena for safe and effective diagnostics. We have long been known for our leadership in the area of equine dentistry and are now expanding our reach in general equine services. The best candidate for this job has at least one year clinical work experience, but will consider new grad. We have an extensive onboarding and mentorship program for the new hire.
