Overview: Full-Time and Part-Time Opportunities Available. Schedule: Flexible Schedules Available (Monday – Friday, and weekend hours) Assist members of the Student Health Center with providing patient care. Act as a liaison between patients and other medical personnel to answer questions or offer guidance. Essential Duties: The main focus of these positions is to perform case investigations via telephone for students testing positive for Covid-19 and daily check-in calls via telephone on those positives. Conduct telephone calls and follow up and check-in calls with students, as needed. NURSES: -Monitor, report, and record symptoms or changes in patient conditions. -Administer medical testing, medications, provide vaccinations, and render treatment to patients. -Maintain accurate, complete health care records and reports. -Communicate with other medical professionals. -Assess, implement, plan, or evaluate patient nursing care plans by working with healthcare team members. -Modify patient health treatment plans as indicated by patient conditions and responses. -Respond to inquiries, concerns, and complaints from patients. -Track and maintain medical supply inventory along with other staff members. -Counsel patients before, during, and after treatment. LPNs: -Plan and manage patient care according to each patient’s needs. -Interview patients and record medical history and physical condition. -Obtain patient vital signs, including pulse, blood pressure, temperature, and respiration. -Provide routine care for patients. MEDICAL ASSISTANTs: -Verifies patient information by interviewing patients, recording medical history, and confirming the visit’s purpose. -Prepares patients for examination by performing preliminary physical tests; taking blood pressure, weight, and temperature; and reporting patient history summary. Marginal Duties: All other duties as assigned.
