You bring your body, mind, heart and spirit to your work as Licensed Practice Nurse - LPN.
You enjoy order entry and helping on the phones.
You’re generous with your compassion, your empathy and especially the skills you bring to your patients.
St. Vincent Healthcare is part of SCL Health, a faith-based, nonprofit healthcare organization that focuses on person-centered care. Our 286-bed level II trauma center has provided care in Montana and the surrounding area since 1898. Our team is second to none, and we work well together.
The Frontier Cancer Center at St. Vincent offers cutting-edge cancer treatment in a healing and beautiful environment. Our Infusion department is growing. Our Infusion services include chemotherapy, biotherapy, immunotherapy and other supportive care. We are open Monday -Thursday from 8am-5pm, and Fridays from 8am to noon.
Benefits are one of the ways we encourage health for you and your family. Our generous package includes medical, dental and vision coverage. But health is more than a well-working body: it encompasses body, mind and social well-being. To that end, we’ve launched a Healthy Living program to address your holistic health. Healthy Living includes financial incentives, digital tools, tobacco cessation, classes, counseling and paid time off. We also offer financial wellness tools and retirement planning.
We make a difference! Our LPN’s are crucial in providing consultation, assessment, treatment, symptom management, education and emotional support to patients in our care.
We’re proud of what we know, which includes how much there is to learn. And providing holistic care to our patients always comes first!
As a LPN you know that every day is different, which is why you need to know how to:
Function in a fast-paced, service-oriented setting, responding to patient needs
Respond to and communicate professionally with patients, families, peers and providers as you perform your work
Drape patients for examinations and treatments
Obtain patient vital signs, including pain scale, height and weight at admission
Clean, sterilize, store, prepare and issue dressing packs, treatment trays and other supplies
Follow hospital, regulatory and professional guidelines, policies and procedures
Document thoroughly as required, using EPIC software
We hire people, not resumes. But we also expect excellence, which is why you need:
Current LPN license to practice nursing in the state of Montana, required
Graduation from an accredited school of Professional Nursing, required
Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association, required
Strong organization skills and attention to detail, required
Now that you know more about being a LPN on our team we hope you’ll join us. At St. Vincent Healthcare you’ll reaffirm every day how much you love this work, and why you were called to it in the first place.
