Business Analyst - Precious Metal Recycling & Chemicals (2003016) - Iselin, NJ Where the Chemistry Happens We are seeking a professional like you to support the Program Management Office (PMO) in driving business transformation and continuous improvement in BASF's Refining Catalyst Business. We focus on driving business profit optimization and profitable revenue growth in a sustainable and responsible way. Our operations are global with focus mostly in North America, Europe, and China. Our key strategic markets include refining of spent catalysts in Autocat and Chemcat segments, and precious metal chemicals. In this role, you will support PMO in effective and efficient operation of Go4It framework with active engagement of all levels of employees in the organization, covering all functions in the value chain. You will have frequent interactions with the leadership team and internal stakeholders globally including commercial organization, operations, supply chain, procurement, analytics, controlling, trading, communication and digitalization community. - Your strong communication and interpersonal skills will aid you as you interface with a variety of stakeholders, in order to understand underlying information in the business' existing, end-to-end data points (from feed input to pricing to manufacturing) and then enhance the team's understanding of available information across the functional areas.
- Your deep understanding of the business data, within SAP, OPEX database and other tools will enable you to prepare meaningful data reports and analysis.
- Relying on your understanding of the control environment and compliance risks, you will perform key control checks around data accuracy for business management and provide feedback on issues identified.
