Program/Project Manager (State Street Bank and Trust Company; New York, New York): is fundamentally important to a great many aspects of daily operations and regulatory compliance. Critical submissions, such as CCAR and DFAST, have their foundations in data infrastructure, data integrity and reporting. The various pieces are naturally connected, but with a less able incumbent it would not be possible to combine them into a single role. Being able to combine them leads to better synergy and a clearer overall reporting picture. Specific duties of the position include: Acting as Data Steward, ensuring data standards and quality are such that State Street remains compliant with relevant regulations; responsible for data governance, data lineage, and data catalogues used for Credit Risk applications; ensuring there is adequate documentation and communication of key risk metrics used in Risk Management Systems and within timelines; automating regulatory reporting processes; provide thought leadership and documentation around data governance and controls within the key Information Systems with a focus on governing reporting capabilities; ability to take ownership of complex data and reporting problems, working with varied stakeholders within Risk Management, Finance and Technology to define and communicate solutions to senior management; responsible for managing the delivery of reporting services within Global Risk Operations, implementing a 'Follow the Sun' approach, supporting risk reporting activities across US, EMEA and APAC; utilizing subject matter experience in both Risk Management and Technology, within the Global Markets space, which includes topics such as Stress testing, Risk reporting, Data governance and Toolkit development; responsible for driving Regulatory-related projects, driving operational compliance for key GSIB regulations such as Dodd Frank Act, BCBS239, FRTB etc.; managing end to end aspects of projects centred around process re-engineering, rationalization and automation of risk reporting and automation of manual operational tasks; partnering with key influencers and stakeholders across the Institution such as IT, Finance, Global Markets, Enterprise Risk Management, Assurance Functions to develop varied approaches towards process improvements and technology changes; and driving Technology development as Product/Project owner through design discussions, business analysis, project management, user acceptance testing and other governance activities.
Minimum requirements are: Bachelor's degree, or its equivalent, in Finance, Business, or related field; and 5 years of experience in credit risk reporting an automation within the financial industry.
Must have: Demonstrated knowledge of CCAR and DFAST reporting requirements; demonstrated experience with data stewardship, including data integrity, data governance, data lineage, and data cataloguing; demonstrated experience with regulatory reporting automation, specifically within Credit Risk; demonstrated written and verbal communication skills; proven team player with ability to build consensus; demonstrated knowledge of risk management activities across credit and market risk; demonstrated experience implementing complex stress testing solutions; demonstrated experience with large credit risk datasets and processes including limit management, counterparty management, and credit portfolio management; and proven ability to translate complex reporting requirements and business needs and incorporate the same into business critical credit risk applications.
